Waves of Change
Greetings Dear Ones:
As we head into 2012, we are navigating in astrological energies of extreme friction. It would be hard to miss the revolutionary winds currently howling across the planet. The Arab Spring and Occupy Wall Street are just two examples of the mood of unrest expressing symbolically now as the Pluto/Uranus Square. There will be seven exact squares of these two planets with the first occurring June 24, 2012, the last on March 16, 2015 and symbolizing a time of “Crisis in Action”. Pluto, the Lord of the Underworld, squares off against Uranus, God of Earthquakes and Lightening Bolts. The theme expressing here: ”breakdown for breakthrough”. On a personal level, we are invited to face heal our own woundedness in order to experience liberation and breakthrough. This promises to be a wild ride, so please keep your seat belts securely fastened!
Let’s not forget another key player in this wave of change. Neptune will be making its re-entry into Pisces on February 2, 2012 and exiting again in January of 2026. Historically, each time Neptune travels through the sign of Pisces there is some type of spiritual renaissance. As we get to the political and ecological breaking point, perhaps we begin to “hurt enough” to see the way forward as an entirely new way of being. Neptune in Pisces is about recognizing our true oneness. The hunger for true connection is getting stronger now. The other side of Neptune in Pisces involves the motivation to simply “check out”, escaping into other realities. Here there is the tendency to simply drink a few more beers and disappear in front of the television. A good Neptune question is, “What am I being called to release and dissolve? “ and “What specific spiritual practices would be most productive to utilize now?” This is a potent time to take a look at your astrological birth chart and, after determining which house Neptune is transiting through, ask yourself how you can most productively navigate these waves of intense change.
